The award committee is looking in particular at the special section, ‘The Source for Ideas and Information.’ Edited by former Newsweek Editor Michael Glennon, the site provides background and analysis on current crises in the Council’s signature Q&A format; in-depth interviews with leading experts conducted by former New York Times Editor Bernard Gwertzman; the Council’s acclaimed encyclopedia of terrorism; selected articles from Foreign Affairs; speeches by the president and Democratic contenders in the 2004 campaign; the most important articles and op-eds on key regions and issues; a calendar of world events; top international stories from NYTimes.com and CNN.com; and other Council content.
